Women's fashion 2010 has arrived

Fur coats and waistcoats, boots above the knee or with fringes, bags and dresses with studs, leggings and large sweaters: Thefashion collection for Winter 2009/10 is rock-chic for a woman aggressive and sophisticated. This year the stylists have tickled our
fancy with an item of clothing more elegant than an overcoat, but less demanding than a coat. It’s the cloak! Short or long, light material or heavy wool, dyed or coloured, the choices are endless. For those sensitive to the cold, who prefer the softness of down, Moncler propose their cloaks in particular shapes that seem like small pieces of art. Large is the colour selection, from camel to blue and fuchsia by Versace, combined with leather waistbands as belts. This year the sheepskin coat has also made a comeback, but the most interest, despite the financial crisis, without a doubt has been centered on the fur coat. Made for all ages, and of various colours, the fur coat is short and shaped like a cloak or cape. Fur has also been used to enrich knitwear in collars, edges, and sleeves. For the evening, instead, the fashion becomes more “rich” with handbags, jeweled sandals, and jerseys and tops with rhinestone to show off on special occasions. In regards to accessories and footwear, the standouts in this season’s collection, are not only studded bags and sandals, but also studded dresses, miniskirts, and long leather gloves that go with armless fur coats.
With footwear, the big arrival of the season is the high boot above the knee. Meanwhile, for the
young, they’re shorter, in suede, and fringed.
